Week 15 – TE Rankings

The top TEs have tough matchups heading into Week 15. Whether it’s Kelce against 6th ranked Chargers defense against fantasy TEs, or Gronk returning from suspension against the NFL’s best defense against fantasy TEs in Pittsburgh. It could be a rough week for fantasy owners that have been banking on a steady 12-15 points from their top TEs. One player who has a very favorable matchup this week is…

Jimmy Graham. The Rams defense has been very good this season, helping the team to a 9-4 record on top of the NFC West. However, they have been susceptible to opposing fantasy TEs. They rank 20th in the league in fantasy TE scoring against with 7.7 FPPG. Even worse in the last 4 games, allowing TEs to score 11.1 points per week, including last week where Trey Burton, filling in for injured Zach Ertz, caught 5 balls for 71 yards and 2 scores. The Rams defense ranks 8th against opposing WRs so look for Seattle to attack the middle of the field with Graham early and often.

Graham had his worst outing of the season last weekend in Jacksonville. He did not record a catch and was only targeted twice, the lowest targets he’s received since Week 2 where he also had two. It was the first time since Week 2 as well that he scored fewer than 10.1 fantasy points. I’m giving him a pass since Jacksonville’s defense has been dominant all season and the Seahawks struggled to move the ball at all until late in the game. I think Graham will really bounce back this week. He should receive 8-10 targets in this game, converting 6 for catches for 90-100 yards and a score. The winner of this game controls the division heading into the final 2 games, and when a team needs a win, they go to their best players. Jimmy Graham has been the Seahawks’ best receiving option all season, look for that continue this week.
