Week 15 – WR Rankings

Another article, another post about a Steelers’ skill position player. As with RB Le’Veon Bell, WR Antonio Brown is clearly the class of his position. With the injury to Carson Wentz this weekend, it could possibly open a path for Brown to become the first WR ever to win the NFL MVP award. He certainly has a legitimate case. Through 13 games, he leads all NFL WRs in receptions (99), targets (159), yards (1,509),  and receptions over 20 yards (27). His 9 TDs only trail DeAndre Hopkins of the Texans who has caught 11. Brown has been the most consistent, and most dominant WR all season.

He has been a dominant force in fantasy as well. He leads all players in fantasy scoring with 305.9 points this season. Brown has surpassed 20 points seven times, 30 points 3 times, and 40 points two times. To make his MVP case even stronger, he’s been on an absolute heater as of late. In Pittsburgh’s last 4 games, he has 39 catches for 627 yards and 6 TDs, averaging 35.0 fantasy points per game in that stretch. As with Bell, once this season is over, there will be a high percentage of championship winning teams with Antonio Brown leading their squad.
